Write for us
We welcome thoughtful contributions about city homes and interior choices: how a room works, why a design detail matters, or how readers might weigh different approaches. Strong pieces are specific, clear and useful without pretending one solution fits every home.
What we welcome
Pitches may explore room layouts, small spaces, furniture, colour and light, or the finishing details that give a home character. We are interested in explanatory features, fair comparisons, design history and carefully framed ideas for particular rooms or occasions. Keep the scope focused enough for one article to make a clear point.
A pitch with a point of view
Tell us the proposed subject, the central idea, why it matters to readers and what makes your approach distinct. Include a brief outline and note any relevant experience or sources you would draw on, without presenting credentials as a substitute for sound reasoning. Please disclose commercial interests that could affect the pitch.
How to send a proposal
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Unsolicited drafts are not necessary; a concise pitch is enough for us to consider the idea. We cannot promise publication, and any accepted contribution will be edited for clarity, accuracy and fit with the publication.
A home is a feeling, built from choices
We believe good rooms begin with noticing how you use them. From there, layout, light and personal details can find their place.
